A note from a woman just like you

When we gather to sing,
When we lose ourselves to the beat of the dholak,
When we dance until the world blurs,
We aren't just performing. In those moments, we are finally living as our true selves.  Folk songs have always been our secret language; they are where we hide our desires, our laughter, and our hunger for more. This month, let’s move that celebration from the folk songs into our own lives. Beyond the slogans and the talk of "empowerment," let’s choose to simply celebrate our existence as women.  No roles, no scripts, just us, owning our rhythm and enjoying ourselves for once. This is your month to unfold.

WOMEN'S DAY SPECIAL

लट्ठे दी चादर उत्ते

सलेटी रंग माहिया...

For generations, these folk verses served as a The Collective Mask. Behind the heavy cream cotton of the Lattha, desire was voiced but always safely tucked within the circle.

It was a performance sanctioned by tradition. You stick to your inner voice, take the rhythmic pulse of the dholak, and bring it into your private world. We are reclaiming the fire. It is time to move the music from the ceremony to the self. Ownership begins where the performance ends.
